Classic Outdoors Favorite Sharpening Tool!!
The CC4 – a combination whetstone, pottery / ceramics. The newly developed CC4 sharpener consists of a superfine ceramic stone (white side) (0.1 micron) and a ceramic stone, made of synthetic sapphires (dark gray) (1 micron). You do not have any oil or water for these stones but now and then you should consider cleaning them with water and liquid soap. A leather case is included.

How to use your CC sharpener: 
If your knife is really lethargic, we advise you to start with a diamond whetstone, see DC4 example. 
Start by using the gray side. Lay the blade flat on the whetstone, raise the blade back corresponding to the thickness of the blade, and start moving the knife in a circular motion. Finish by doing the same with the white side.
Marker trick: 
Color the edge with a felt pen. You can check your progress in sharpening the knife by observing the color was removed. 
Check the focus: 
To check the sharpness of your knife, pull the edge very gently on your nail. If it is cut, the knife is sharp enough for most uses.
